Saxophone Players in Dubai | Why Choose ChrisOnSAX
If you’re searching for saxophone players in Dubai, you’re probably comparing options. Different styles, different prices, different vibes. So let me make it simple and tell you exactly who I am, what I do, and why it might be the right fit for your event.
I’m Chris — a French saxophonist based in Dubai. I’ve been performing here for years, across some of the city’s finest venues and most memorable private events. And what drives every performance is the same thing: creating the right atmosphere for the moment.
What Makes Me Different
There are saxophone players in Dubai who play loud. Who play flashy. Who show up with a preset playlist and deliver the same set regardless of the room.
That’s not my approach.
My sound is rooted in smooth jazz, lounge and soulful grooves — warm, elegant, and always in conversation with the energy of the room. I read the crowd. I adapt in real time. And I bring original compositions blended with carefully arranged backing tracks that give every performance its own identity.
It’s not about volume or spectacle. It’s about atmosphere.
What I Perform At
Over the years I’ve played at a wide range of events across Dubai — and each one taught me something about what live saxophone music actually does to a room:
- Private parties & birthdays — the music that makes guests feel the evening was thought through
- Weddings — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner — I adapt to each moment of the day
- Corporate events & gala dinners — sophisticated background music or show moments for VIP gatherings
- Rooftop & brunch sessions — smooth lounge vibes for weekend brunches and sunset sessions
- Hotel & restaurant residencies — regular live music that builds the identity of a venue
Venues I’ve Played in Dubai
I’ve been lucky enough to perform at some of Dubai’s most prestigious venues — which gives me a sense of the standards expected at high-end events in this city:
- Hutong — DIFC
- Atlantis The Palm — Palm Jumeirah
- Kempinski Hotel — The Palm
- Conrad Hotel — Dubai
- Hilton — The Palm
- Signor Sassi — Palm Jumeirah
- La Cantine du Faubourg — Bluewaters
- Fire Lake Grill — Radisson Blu, Business Bay
- Gohan — Bluewaters Island
Solo or Duo — Formats for Every Event
Depending on what your event needs, I perform in different formats:
- Solo saxophone — smooth and self-contained, with backing tracks that give a full sound
- Saxophone & guitar/vocals duo — warmer and more dynamic for larger events
- Saxophone & violin duo — refined and sophisticated for upscale settings
How to Know If I’m the Right Fit
If you want loud, high-energy party sax — there are other players in Dubai who do that well. That’s not what I specialise in.
If you want something warm, elegant and memorable — music that fits your event without taking it over — then we’re probably a good match. The best way to find out is to just get in touch and tell me about what you’re planning.
Let’s Talk
No complicated process. Just a conversation about your event, the vibe you’re going for, and whether live saxophone makes sense for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
My roots are in smooth jazz, lounge and soulful grooves. I adapt to the energy of each event — softer and more elegant for intimate dinners, more groove and funk for livelier parties. The music always follows the room.
Yes — private parties are one of my favourite settings. There’s something special about playing for a group of people who are genuinely there to enjoy themselves. Whether it’s a birthday, an anniversary or a dinner party, I adapt to the mood of the evening.
Both. I perform solo with backing tracks most of the time — it gives a full, rich sound without needing a full band. But I also offer duo formats — saxophone with guitar and vocals, or saxophone with violin — for events that want something different.
Pricing depends on the type of event, duration and format. Brunch and restaurant performances start from AED 1,000. Private parties and corporate events are priced accordingly. Best to get in touch with your event details and I’ll put together a quote that fits.
For weekends and peak season (October to April), I recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance. For large events or specific dates, earlier is always better. That said, don’t hesitate to reach out even for last-minute requests — I’ll do my best to accommodate.
