A Musical Journey from Passion to Performance

ChrisOnSax is the story of a musical passion that came to life at the age of 20. After years devoted to sports, the irresistible pull of sound took over—guided by the soulful melodies of the saxophone, inspired by legends like Supertramp, Pink Floyd, blues, and rock & roll.

A true autodidact, Chris immersed himself in saxophone every single day, teaching himself the fundamentals before crossing paths with a local saxophonist. This led to private lessons and the creation of his first band, Les Sens Interdits, with childhood friends—his first steps into live performance.

After four years of music as an amateur, he made a bold move: leaving his day job to pursue music full-time. He joined the Jazz Conservatory of Cagnes-sur-Mer, founded the professional band Memphis Bell, and began a successful run of live shows—over 150 performances per year across the French Riviera for five years.

Today, ChrisOnSax embraces modern sounds, exploring deep house, dance music, and stylish live-DJ duos. His performances blend this contemporary edge with his continued involvement in bands like CALL ME WINSTON (a stunning tribute to Tarantino’s cinematic universe) and RESPECT, an explosive tribute to Aretha Franklin.

Through every performance, ChrisOnSax shares his love for great music, transmitting good vibes and unforgettable energy. Whether on stage with a vibrant band or solo with a deep groove, every note is played with one goal: to create a magical and meaningful musical experience.
